Changemaker Scholarships
2026 Applications are Open!
The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights invites Idaho high school seniors to apply for the 2026 Changemaker Scholarships. Each year, we award cash scholarships of up to $2,000 to students who have taken meaningful action to create positive change in their communities. These are students who put the Wassmuth Powerful Practices into action, transforming human rights from abstract ideals into informed action that builds just and joyful communities where human rights are a lived reality for all.
Applications are due by Monday, April 6, 2026 and must include the following:
- Completed personal information form
- Essay of no more than 1,000 words describing your work as a changemaker
- Signed permission release
The Changemaker Scholarships are made possible by the generous and enduring support of the family of Arthur and Neli Zaltzman, who fund these awards in memory of their parents. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to honoring Arthur and Neli’s legacy by investing in the next generation of changemakers.
