2026 Idaho Gives Fundraiser
This year’s annual Idaho Gives campaign feels a little different.
Like many of you, the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights is being pulled by the weight of human rights issues locally, nationally, and internationally. Amid the heaviness of today, we are all searching for a way to make a real impact and build a just and joyful world. And what better place to begin than Idaho?
In June, we will celebrate 30 years since the founding of the Center and the beginning of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, a globally recognized space for reflection, education, and action. All thanks to a set of visionaries who looked at what Idaho was known for and dared to imagine something different. Not a place defined by hate, but a place that would stand for human dignity. Thirty years later, that vision is still rippling outward. Because this symbol was never just about Idaho and neither is our mission.
What began as one community’s response to hate has grown into a body of work that travels: curriculum used in classrooms around the world, leadership programs that connect young people across the country, and an ever-growing community of people committed to transforming human rights from ideals into daily action. Wherever you are, this work and this campus belong to you. It reaches outward into classrooms, communities, and conversations far beyond our state lines.
From Monday, May 4 to Thursday, May 7, we invite you to join our Idaho Gives campaign as we raise $40,000 to support our transformative human rights education programs and their global impact.
Your donation matters. You can sustain and expand our engaging human rights education programs and empower people around the world. More than 90% of our educational programs are free. With your help we can keep it that way!
Your gift is more than just a donation.
It is an investment in a world where every person belongs and thrives.
What’s idaho gives?
Idaho Gives, a program of the Idaho Community Foundation and supported by ICCU, is a statewide celebration of giving. For four days, Idahoans come together to support the causes they care about. Donations can be made only from Monday, May 4th through Thursday, May 7th!
Why give to the Wassmuth Center?
With your donation, the Wassmuth Center can continue to connect individuals with the power of knowledge and inspire our community to meet the challenges of our time. We know that when we learn together, we can build a world that affirms the dignity of every individual.
With your help we can:
- Connect community members in classrooms, events, and courageous conversations
- Learnabout critical human rights issues in our local and global communities
- Create a more just and compassionate world—one that honors the dignity of every person
