Wassmuth Powerful Practices

Powerful Practices

At the Wassmuth Center, our North Star is clear: a world where everyone’s dignity is honored and human rights are a lived reality for all.

This vision guides all that we do, but we won’t realize it through intention alone. It can only become real when we move from intention to consistent practice.

That’s why we are introducing the Wassmuth Powerful Practices–six intentional ways of being that help us move toward our vision every day:

  • Collect Joy
  • Design for Belonging
  • Listen Deeply
  • Stay Curious
  • Notice and Name Bright Spots
  • Go to the Balcony

Together, these practices form a shared language and an actionable approach to living out our mission. They are not simply strategies or checklists. They are habits of heart and mind that help us build relationships, navigate complexity, and co-create communities grounded in human dignity.

Due to construction, parts of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial are temporarily inaccessible, but visitors can still access the Anne Frank statue via the Greenbelt entrance.
